Course Material Definitions and Comparison Table

UW-Superior instructors can utilize a range of different resources in their courses, choosing and combining the options most appropriate for the needs of their course design and students. This page compares a few of those resources based on their copyright status, cost to students, and cost to UW-Superior.

This table lists materials in order from most restrictive at the top to least restrictive at the bottom. In this context, "restrictive" refers to how easily the material can be changed, combined with other materials, saved, and shared. It does not necessarily refer to cost or accessibility. This table is also available as a PDF.
