Why do I use E-Hive?
- Access your official student information
- View your class schedule
- View financial aid records and transcripts
- Accept Financial Aid
- Pay your tuition bill
Where can I get help?
Technology Services maintains guides to help you use E-Hive.

These are some of the tools you will use to access your courses, submit course work, and evaluate your courses. Students taking classes on campus and students who only access courses online use these tools.

What is Kaltura "My Media"?

Why do I use My Media?
- Create and edit videos
- Store audio and visual assignments
- Easily submit your creations to Canvas
Many courses request that students create and submit videos as part of their course work. Although Canvas has some built-in options for media creation and storage, there are limitations to how much you can store in Canvas. Kaltura has no limit on how much content you can create and store as long as they are being used in a course.
Where can I get help?
First, read this detailed introduction to Kaltura My Media and how to use it to support your Canvas coursework: How to Create and Manage Audio and Video Using Kaltura My Media
If you need assistance, please reach out to canvas@uwsuper.edu to connect with the Canvas team at UW-Superior.
Canvas Support, available via the “Help” menu in Canvas, cannot offer help with Kaltura My Media because it is a third-party service we license. You can access Kaltura through Canvas, but it is not a built-in Canvas tool.
