Download Individual Items

To download a specific My Media item, log into Canvas using a desktop or laptop computer, and then open My Media:

1. Click Account in the Global Navigation menu.
2. Click the My Media link.
3. Click the title of the media item you’d like to download.
4. Click the arrow Download Video button at the top right of the video player.

Clicking the Download Video button will download the video to your computer. If you need to retain the downloaded item longterm, remember to save in your OneDrive or a secure backup location.

Request an Export of Your Items List

If you’d like to download many of your My Media items at once, please email canvas@uwsuper.edu.

The UW-Superior Canvas team will send you a report that lists all of your current My Media items and provides a download link for each one. Copy and paste the download link into your browser’s address bar and open the link to download that item.

Please download the items you need as soon as possible; the download links will eventually expire.
